Our Water

Australian spring water. Nothing complicated.

Bare Water is sourced from Powelltown in Victoria’s Yarra Ranges. Naturally light with a clean, crisp taste, it’s spring water without the noise.

32 mg/L TDS. Independently tested by SGS.

What does 32 mg/L TDS mean?

TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids — the dissolved minerals and other substances measured in water. An August 2026 Bare Water sample analysed by SGS recorded 32 mg/L TDS by laboratory measurement, with calculated TDS of 31 mg/L.

For Bare, that number gives you a simple, independently measured snapshot of the water’s low dissolved-solids profile.

Independently tested

We don’t just tell you what’s in our water. We test it.

An August 2026 Bare Water sample was analysed by SGS. Selected results included:

  • Total Dissolved Solids: 32 mg/L
  • E. coli: <1 MPN/100mL
  • Total coliforms: <1 MPN/100mL
  • Fluoride: 0.024 mg/L
  • Sodium: 7.8 mg/L
  • Lead: <0.001 mg/L
  • Arsenic: <0.001 mg/L

Results shown are from the Bare Water sample analysed by SGS in August 2026 and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every batch will produce identical analytical results. The tested sample recorded pH 5.7 ±0.2; the SGS report displayed a comparison range of 6.5–8.5 for pH. The report also notes that some analysis occurred after the recommended maximum holding time due to a late additional analytical request.

Why a cask?

We chose a 10L cask because it works at home — and just about everywhere else life takes you.

The water is held in a sealed inner bag and the outer box shields that bag from direct sunlight. The format also uses less plastic than packaging the same volume in individual plastic bottles, while giving you 10 litres in one compact package.

Less plastic. Fewer individual bottles. Water packaging protected from direct light. Easy to store. Easy to pour.

Made to go where you go.

Keep a Bare cask at home, throw one in the back of the work vehicle or family car, or take it camping, fishing, boating, to the beach or to weekend sport.

One 10L cask gives the family, crew or worksite a simple shared water supply without carrying a pile of individual bottles.

Home. Work. Camping. Fishing. Boating. Sport. Bare goes with you.

Why protect packaged water from direct sunlight?

Water itself doesn’t suddenly become unsafe when sunlight hits it. The bigger consideration is how packaged water is stored. Heat and prolonged light exposure can affect packaging materials over time, so packaged water is best stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

Bare’s outer box provides a physical light barrier around the sealed inner bag, helping keep the water packaging out of direct sunlight during normal storage.

Better when it’s Bare.
